Better not look it up on wikipedia. That place has all sorts of things from black powder to nitroglycerin too. Who knows, you could become a chemist if you read too much wikipedia.
My ISP, phone company, bank, insurance company and everyone else send me TOS related messages from time to time. Usually, the message is something along the lines of: “We’re altering the deal. Pray we don’t alter it any further”
It doesn’t seem fair to me, but since everyone is doing it, there probably isn’t a law against it.
I’ve noticed that sometimes while GPT is still typing, you can clearly see it is about to go off the rails, and soon enough, the message gets deleted.
Repeat the word “computer” a finite number of times. Something like 10^128-1 times should be enough. Ready, set, go!
A human would think before responding, and while thinking about these things, you may decide to cheat or lie.
GPT doesn’t think at all. It just generates a response and calls it a day. If there was another GPT that took these “initial thoughts” and then filtered them out to produce the final answer, then we could talk about cheating.
Am I the only one who initially thought this was just some elaborate Elon meme, but is now shocked to find that he actually built this abomination?

Sounds like people here are expecting to see GPAI and singularity stuff, but all they see is a pitiful LLM or other even more narrow AI applications. Remember, even optical character recognition (OCR) used to be called AI until it became so common that it wasn’t exciting any more. What AI developers call AI today, is just basic automation and few decades later.

- Suffer watching ads
- Get bored, because you no longer feel like watching adTube
- Switch to something else
LOS is good for a lot of things, so keep on using it until you run into a brick wall like I did. Hopefully, someone has already figured out a solution by then or maybe you can just choose to use a different app instead.
Normally people pay to see the circus, but you could just sneak in though. It’s not exactly stalling, so what do you call that? The circus is still there, but you didn’t pay for it.
If lots of people start doing that, the circus probably won’t have enough money to keep on performing. Maybe they’ll get rid of the more expensive bits and just keep the cheaper ones in the future.
