You took this out of the context it was in.

I switched to Linux myself but can we please stop lying about Linux being a drop-in replacement? There is enough sofware that does not work.

That still won't say anything about the reliability of the medium. The update itself isn't the problem.

Depends. If you need updates on the software used in the air gapped network you won't have lot of options. Burning cd's doesn't sound so crazy all of a sudden though...

I would count pressing the winkey and use start to search and launch an application as using the start menu.

I mean, it's very easy money given you already have a channel and a name dor youself. What would YT have to pay creators to not care about such easy money?

As a YT Premium subscriber I really don't mind the sponsor sections. Money goes to the creator and a few taps and I'm back to watching. Also, I think outright banning sponsor segments is going to make creators more creative in a bad way..

While I hate the videofication of everything as much as the next person. Looking at a regular website these days is even worse than YouTube with ads.. Cookies bro? You want to subscribe? Can we send you browser messages?? Here are 10 ads that move the text around that you were just reading..

And or it's search function for applications when you don't want a permanent search bar clogging up your taskbar because you like text labels in the taskbar ;)

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (GBA). Being able to grind XP / gear to compensate for my bad platforming skills was amazing. Also this sparked my love for Metroidvania games.

It's very carefully being shoved in by touching the waters and seeing how far they can go. The first few times there is outrage but after a while people get tired, miss that it is happening or simply don't understand what it's about. The changes aren't that big but as a whole work towards something nobody wants. Same as with a lot of laws and / or social changes.

Short answer because I'm drunk but I have to admit I'm somewhat older so I play a lot of indie titles. And one of the few triple A games that I play (BF5) forces me to boot into Windows but that is a fraction of what I play.

I use Discord, Steam and Firefox mainly and don't do much productivity wise so probably a biased experience.

My 6750XT was automatically installed and had no work from it whatsoever.
