Checking time to login is more likely in the security sector than anywhere else. A number of vulnerabilities based on timing have been identified and removed in the past.

So many vulnerabilities were found due to time to login that one of the security features was to take longer to respond to a bad login so they couldn't tell what part failed. Here's an article I found about one such vulnerability.
Yeah, I thought about it after and realized it was probably a different tech, but the point is reliable breeder reactors are possible, and certain medical tech is reliant on their existence.
Canada has CANDU breeder reactors, still in use. They also produce the majority of medical isotopes.
To add to your list. You could still get checks in Canada as of a couple years ago, but virtually no one does that outside of some seniors who refuse to move on.
Canada decided to have none of that. Downloading without keeping a copy (streaming) was basically thrown out as copyright infringement, the whole lost income idea was generally laughed at, and the final result was a maximum judgement of $500 for all non-commercial copyright infringement prior to the suit. Which basically would pay for about one hour of the plaintiff lawyer's fees. We don't get a lot of copyright suits like that in Canada any more.

If counting from 1 to eleven is too hard for you, I don't think observing that the scale is from 7 to 11 is within your grasp. So, why do this. Absolutely, there are reasons to not start a scale from zero, stocks are a great example, but I don't think those reasons apply to this graph or the information they're trying to convey.
