Serious question: don't these things not just, like, grind shit up and send it down the drain? Coffee grounds are already, well, ground up. I flush them all the time.

Have you watched a game of Association Football (or real football) lately? They digitally alter the ads on physical LED banners for different broadcast regions.

It's not an OS feature if it only works with the stock launcher.

She's born in Oakland, CA. Where did she illegally migrate to?

Is the same true for a blue lives matter shirt, I wonder?

It really depends. You need to train yourself to focus on the important stuff and let the rest become second nature.

Driving a manual car usually doesn't take conscious effort to do, you just.. drive. But that takes practice. Lots of it.

And some people just never get there. Or they are afraid to drive, which tends to provoke dangerous situations. Or they can drive okay but don't pay enough attention to the road.

But usually driving with an instructor is stressful, once you get your license everything will be more relaxed and easier.

They might keep driving, but some infotainment features (or even other features that are tied to subscriptions) might stop working.

Depending on the implementation of these features that could mean the car constantly shows error messages, or the infotainment freezes, or in the worst case the car won't even start or charge.

Some of these concerns are true for newer cars of traditional manufacturers: what happens when their online services become unavailable?

  1. under screen fingerprint readers (USFR) have basically no accuracy problems? I find that mine rarely struggles to read my fingerprint, and the one on my Ipad (on the power button) sometimes doesn't register the first time either.

  2. the USFR DON'T need to scan all the time, they can just wake when YOU TOUCH THE SCREEN! It's basically the same for ALL kinds of fingerprint readers, so it's a non-issue.

  3. well, I concede that point

  4. cost comes down with scale. Also phones are ridiculously expensive nowadays, the cost of the sensor doesn't have a huge impact on that.

  5. fingerprint readers can scratch as easily as the screen. People are much more likely to make sure the screen does not get damaged than the finger print reader.

  6. traditional finger print readers struggle when wet as well. Also your phone is basically unusable anyways, when it's wet.

I mean it comes down to preference, but I like the scanner to be under the screen. All the things you listed really speak against finger print scanners in general, why not use Face ID?

Yes I would notice, yes I would be confused, yes I would be mad. My fridge stands against a wall on one side and would become basically impossible to access.

For starters: amassing troops at the russian is a warning.

But I think a coordinated attack by NATO could neutralize all russian air power, at least in the western part. Thus preventing Russia from waging war in Ukraine or making any attacks on NATO countries in return.

Nuclear war is not plausible due to Mutual Assured Destruction.

Okay, I'm seeing a lot of "alternatives" posted. But to all of you recommending minimal launchers: They are NOT an alternative for Nova.

I've used Nova for near on 10 years now, always trying other launchers for a while. In those 10 years I realized that I want a fully fledged "traditional" launcher, not a list-based one where I have to search for my apps.
