The only thing we reasonably have is security through obscurity. We are something bigger than a forum but smaller than Reddit, in terms of active user size. If such a thing were to happen here, mods could handle it more easily probably (like when we had the spammer of the Japanese text back then), but if it were to happen on a larger scale than what we have it would be harder to deal with.

While I don't plan on being a parent, I will say that I did learn a good bit about piracy from my dad when I was younger, which kept me away from obviously shady things and now that I'm older I pretty much have a routine in place for my stuff whereas he doesn't even use a computer anymore. I think it's worth it really.
I used to use startpage but just recently switched back to ddg. for some reason on my browser the search would return errors or sometimes I'd type my search query and it would just load the homepage of the site. Sometimes it just feels like there is no winning. :/
YouTube already denies many creators of their due rewards from viewership over trivial things like saying the word "hell" in a video. it's obviously something more considering it's Google we're talking about.
It was never mentioned by name, only being referred to by apple as "being state-sponsored". They also do openly mention ~~Israel in connection with~~ NSO Pegasus though.

wow, I was kind of expecting this to be an exaggeration but you are right. I just checked over there and it's just memes, news articles, and arguing.
probably 18. Free enough to do whatever I want but young enough that society doesn't expect any responsibilities from me.
The only real option in this case would be to use an unregulated wallet through person-to-person exchanges which would inherently carry more risks than a normal regulated market. Not my area of expertise however so I'm not sure where you'd start, sorry.
Hmm, good point.
