same here. and as sad as I am about Apollo, Voyager is exactly the same for the rare times I use Lemmy on Mobile. so I really haven't had any use for reddit at all anymore... outside of adding it to my searches maybe.

i do not think a centralized effort would work for pirated content. look at all the websites that have gone down over the years.

look up rehike for youtube if you are curious. It works for me and many people.

I load the old 2014-2017 layout locally from my C drive as my localhost and proxy it to load when i type in youtube dot com. avoids ads, increases performance, and looks better as a layout all in one.
