i'm a fan of immich, but i don't think it deletes photos from your phone when deleting it on the server.

may i introduce you to the ARD Mediathek where 'Die Sendung mit der Maus' (a kind of sciency kids show) can have, by law, only the latest episode available for streaming. some other things may be available for longer, but it's still pretty stupid...

still something that would identify it as a keepass database file, no?

but now you can't see what they collect about you 😐

i guess because of metadata. an encrypted file has no readable header, which the keepass database file probably has so that keepass knows how it is encrypted.

about the tesla interior camera. no it does not. at least not in a very useful way. it tries to maybe detect that you probably are not distracted. one way to make it give up is wearing sunglasses.

if you used hot water just empty a bottle in a pot and cook a nice warm soup with the frozen hot water

not sure where you are from but there are also deep freezers that look like fridges. they also don't run the compressor the whole time, so there is no need to only 'turn them on' when electricity is cheap (which, from a european pov is all ghr time in thr USA). if they get above a certain threshold, they turn on and then off again when reaching the target temperature. that usually takes about 10 minutes. if you only turn it on at night it might be running way longer than when it's on the whole time...
