I'm always sus of anything the Chinese government does. I feel that governments restricting Internet usage is just a way to indoctrinate people with the media you (the state) shows them instead.

I one time for fun (cause I'm insane) read the entire Windows license agreement, MSA (Microsoft Services Agreement), and privacy policy. It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes, I timed it.

Why would Telegram help with that? Telegram isn't private or anonymous. You sign up with a phone number and the company can read every communication you make.
