According to Google's Subprocessor List, they added LXT AI Inc. for voice to text processing services who are based out of Canada, India, Romania. According to LXT's website, they may be actually using this data for AI training... This sounds very concerning. Anything you say will be sent to AI company's servers, and essentially be their property... So if you're using Voice to Text to pitch a new idea or game designing docs... They can steal it? is that how it works?
How do you mean there's no such thing as AI?
The thing I really hate about AI is when they say it can make art. For centuries, art has been a form of expression and communicating all sorts of human emotions and experiences. Some art reflects pain or memories experienced in life. Other art is designed out of intellectual curiosity or to evoke thought. AI isn't human, so it can't do anything other than copy or simulate. It's artificial after all. So it makes images. But there's no backstory or feelings or emotion or suffering. It's truly meaningless.
Threads is honestly terrible. There are these asinine little widgets on Instagram that show you threads that people have posted and don't show you the full one so you click see more and it brings you to the app store. But no one really uses it much, so you see a lot of things being posted with no interaction at all
