What a horrible article.

It explains more about what the EU policy and mentions zero details of what this code entails, besides some companies saying it’s great news.

where did it all go wrong?

Capitalism is where.

It’ll always fight to go there, because least offered most gained is the name of the business.

Sure you can split them up and regulate them, that’ll last for a few years or decades but money is power and they will wield that power to undo it all again, time after time to seek profit.

The only solution is a system that doesn’t value capital.

Tensions can flair up any moment over anything, so while it might seem unlikely today all it takes is one Serbian guy with a gun to start a world war.

Whereas training hackers can take years, so start early.

I cant see China starting shit while Russia is failing so poorly and Irans limited in its capabilities. I assume the idea is to create regional instability for the next decade or two and try to push the US to its limits. Although Japan entered the war when it knew it wasnt ready, hoping on a hail mary strike to nullify Us capabilities, so don’t discount prideful stupidity speeding that up.

Isnt it about being prepared for if they are in a state of war?

X state malware is good, Y state malware is bad.

Shit take.

Yeah we've been fucked over for so long down here in Australia with overpriced everything from lack of competition that Prime is a legitimately good deal on many things.

It’s literally cheaper for me to order my fucking groceries delivered to my door than it is to go to a supermarket, yet the supermarkets still don't stop jacking up the prices. Aldi can sometimes work out cheaper, but you've got to hunt for their sales in the magazine each week so its not practical.

Im just glad to have rest of the world prices on many goods, sure it might not seem cheap to them but it is here.

I don’t own or have any inclinations towards getting a VR headset.

Im an isolation fanboy thank you very much.

I see nothing wrong with people being able to tune out and enjoy whatever they want without others demands for their attention.

Re-read the title.

More complicated please, it's a lifting motion, hardly anything special and no different to removing headphones from ones ears.

And why do people need to see what I'm doing? If I'm on my phone, do they need to be able to read my screen as well? Is it not enough to see that I'm on my phone.

And you can take off a visor.

Have you never been so engrossed in an activity that you've tuned out the world around you, only to be shocked when someone taps you on the shoulder to get your attention? These complaints are as worn out as Aristotle moaning about the youths.
