Tom Godwin's The Survivors, it's pretty short so they could do their thing where they always mess with the story and it wouldn't have much effect.
Asimov's Robots stories, particularly those with Powell and Donovan, US Robots, etc could be the basis for a cool series, ideally retro-futuristic...
Do people buy the thinnest thing? Laptops or phones maybe to some extent, but TVs I sincerely doubt.
Some people like the glamour of super thin TVs, they're a bit like fancy sculptures.... But I'd wager most people just get the cheapest TV at their preferred size, with some accommodation for perceived quality or features.

The processor in my Bravia seems to do wonders for image quality tho. Same file on my HiDPI computers doesn't look nearly as good.
I've read that Samsung and Apple smartwatches are better than Garmin at detecting cardiac issues tho.

Aren't the machines TSMC uses made in the Netherlands? They're the only ones who can get down to that size, and they do it working 36 hours a week...
Never broke any. It was a pain to plug in blindly in the back of the TV tho.
