Power button has rescue rights. I had to use the power button after Windows forced an update on Friday and my tower just sat there powered on but doing nothing for an hour, no signal to the monitor. Now I feel bad, it was probably just high on drugs.

Linux mint, I just type sudo apt update and I'm done.

Is it? I've not knowingly consumed anything from Nestlé in 20 years.

Edit: I have a bland palate and having a dairy allergy helps. I'm also incredibly stubborn!

I met Monica Lewinsky in London once. I didn't recognise her until she paid with a card without a signature and I had to ask for photo ID and I was like ohhhhhhhh.

Do you remember the days where people were complaining that they wanted to book a GP appointment more than 48 hours later but were being told they had to see their GP within 2 days? Good times.

I've saved the link, thank you!

Oh the notepad thing was just a test to see if it was me or the software. I wonder if Linux has something like the old htmlkit. I never did find anything to replace it on Windows.

Really?! I was told to always install programs via sudo.

Is that the same as sudo? That's what I've been using.

Krita looks impressive. I might give it a try. Thanks!

Thanks, man. Well it's on its own hd and I don't have anything important on it, so why not mess around. I've been wanting a Linux box since 2000 haha finally got my dream.

Do you reckon it's worth trying to install any of these? XD

I got notepad++ to install via play on Linux, so I think it's just this particular program that's not cooperating.

This is the exact same issue I'm having. In the end I just installed all my art stuff on Windows :(
