I ended up running a military campaign across the entire world because nobody would stop being hostile, then I eventually lost as my own cities rose against me.
It was my first Civ campaign, I played it in one go for hours upon hours until late at night.
The feeling of utter futility after complete domination is still memorable to me, it was such a strange feeling.
There was a period of a few months around the 60 minutes interview with the pilots where I was pretty sad and bored, and it hit just the right spot for me to feel some hope that the world is interesting.
I personally see hydrogen as a great energy dense storage solution to utilize excess generation from solar/wind/etc.
But we're a long way off from that, so it seems the consensus is that if anything, hydrogen research should primarily be in preparation for a time when it could be utilized reasonably. That may be 20-30 years out, or more. Idk.
I think Watsky's "Lovely Thing Suite" would be better as a 20 minute song, it ended up releasing as 4 songs that technically flow into eachother but it's a little janky.
