Probably, but when someone is going through old posts they are going to see the edit, not the history. The main goal here is to make Reddit less useful so people go elsewhere. Let Google's AI be trained on Bot posts.

Samsung is a nightmare, don't purchase their products.
For example: I used to have a Samsung phone. If I plugged it into the USB port on my computer Windows Explorer would not be able to see it to transfer files. My phone would tell me I need to download Samsung's drivers to transfer files. I could only get them by downloading Samsung's software. Once I installed the software Windows Explorer was able to see the device and transfer files. Once I uninstalled the software Windows Explorer couldn't see the device again.
Anything Samsung can do in your region to insert themselves between you and what you are trying to do they will do.
I "deleted" all my posts, then randomly had someone reply to a 3 year old post that wasn't showing up in my profile but still showed on the page.
Don't delete your comments, edit them to be useless.
It's designed in a ways that'll make it inherently incorrect. Even on a physical basis (due to numeric issues). It's not a problem of the algorithm because it has been designed that way. The problem is that you don't know how to correctly use it.
So it is bad at things like giving or finding factual information. I agree, companies need to stop cramming it into everything (like search engines) for tasks that it is specifically bad at because it is not designed for it.
It's just pure math and logic. And LLMs are nothing more than billions of additions and multiplications.
Okay: using additions and multiplications prove the assassination attempt on Donald Trump happened
Hallucination is also wildly misleading. The AI does not believe something that isn't real, it was incorrect in the words it guessed would be appropriate.
Democrats believe that we can reduce gun violence while respecting the rights of responsible gun owners. We believe we should expand and strengthen background checks for those who want to purchase a firearm – because it shouldn’t be easier to get a gun than a driver’s license. We believe we should ensure that guns don’t fall into the hands of terrorists (whether they be domestic or foreign), domestic abusers, other violent criminals, or those who have shown signs of danger toward themselves or others. And we believe we should treat gun violence as the deadly public health crisis it is.
Looks like you're the one that needs their hand held.
If my Linux distro gets bought by a big greedy company I'll switch to a different distro.
If you spend the time and effort and find the half dozen different places to turn off Microsoft ads it probably stops them.
You shouldn't have to do that and they probably made it even more of a hassle in Windows 11, because they don't care that you own the computer, they really don't like you having control over it.
Or better yet consumers could stop supporting shitty companies and use alternatives instead, seeing as we're listing fantasies...
As someone who recently made the switch, and felt the immediate relief when I started using an OS that wasn't actively fighting me, I can't foresee what Windows could possibly do to convince me to go back. If my distro enshittifies I'll just switch to a different distro. Fuck the corpos.
And here I thought I was being critical of them.
You are right of course, Samsung is very much like Apple. And if you don't care about a company trying to lock you into their software, inserting themselves in between everything you're trying to do, and denying you control over your own device, then I'm sure it works just fine.
