Reddit also had the ability to just type in my address bar "/r/obscurefandom" and be taken directly to the subreddit for it. Lemmy doesn't have those smaller subs yet and you have to hunt for the right instance if it does.

Looked like a reference to me, not a rip off.

???? Ok leave some Pennies in coca cola and see what happens.

OP is a fantastic example as to why "look at what coke does to [object unrelated to anatomy] " is a terrible argument. You've completely missed the point.

YouTube: makes ads more and more intrusive.

People: block annoying intrusive ads.

This guy: "YoU'rE jUsT hUrTiNg ThE cReAtOr!"

Companies will keep making ads worse and worse until people stop putting up with it. I'm not going to put up with their bullshit so that the content creator can get 0.0001 cents from my view. If you want to support the creator that's what Patreon is for.

Right, so even if I'm doing the same thing I'm not doing it in the exact same way, so the result may be different.

Edit: Yes, revenue vs profit. I get it. It was a joke.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was Elon's "strategy" here.

Try again

Are you expecting a different result?

The original quote is "If you feed enough oats to the horse, some will pass through to feed the sparrows" from Galbraith.

If my goal is to feed sparrows that's a very costly and inefficient method. I also end up with an overweight horse.

If I just rolled a 6 I'm not going to expect the same result if I roll the die again.

So other places need to implement similar laws.
