I guess you can't steal anything when you just decide to limit the definition of the word.

I guess you can steal anything when you expand the definition of the word to anything you want.

You live on the internet, it would take you 5 seconds to link to the "actual definition" you are using if the word was actually used that way.

Your friend tells you about his new job:
He sits at a computer and a bunch of nonsense symbols are shown on the screen. He has to guess which symbol comes next. At first he was really bad at it, but over time he started noticing patterns; the symbol that looks like 2 x's connected together is usually followed by the symbol that looks like a staff.
Once he started guessing accurately on a regular basis they started having him guess more symbols that follow. Now he's got the hang of it and they no longer tell him if he's right or not. He has no idea why, it's just the job they have him.
He shows you his work one day and you tell him those symbols are Chinese. He looks at you like you're an idiot and says "nah man, it's just nonsense. It does follow a pattern though: this one is next."

That is what LLM are doing.

Couple key differences:

  1. anti-vax is a choice, made out of ignorance and easily renounced.
  2. If someone tells me they are an anti-vaxxer there are a lot of things I know about them, and none of them are good

There's a cracked Diablo 4 available and it's "online only". There are still bugs they're working on but as far as I know it's fully playable from start to finish.

Haven't had any issues like that in decades. It's pretty easy to find trusted sources and not download shady looking files.

You realize it's even easier to pirate a game, play it without worrying about a time limit, and purchase it later if I like it?

The only games I haven't pirated to try before buying are games that have a demo available.

I use Facebook Container which isolates any webpage that connects with facebook from the rest of my tabs. It also has separate containers for things like work, shopping, etc you can optionally use for whatever.

It's very convenient to just open a "shopping" container tab to check my spam email address instead of opening a private window and needing to sign in each time.

Happens all the time. Recently Republicans were calling the speaker of the house "secretly a democrat" because he acknowledged that his adopted black son has difficulties his white sons won't have to deal with.

Oh you must be new. There's always an "in group" and an "out group". If somehow everyone is in the "in group" the rules change to create a new "out group".

He could have just done nothing with the company, hired someone to put in charge and say "you have a year to make Twitter profitable", and when that inevitably fails shut it down.

He didn't have to tank his reputation. All the time he's spending running Twitter into the ground he could have instead done nothing, and still shut it down in the same time frame for being "not-profitable". Enough time would have passed for him to get away with it, and would have lost less money in the process.

So even if his plan is to destroy Twitter, he's still an idiot doing it in the dumbest way possible.
