Word of warning: they tend to trap more than hair. If you have a teenage boy in the house you'll find out real quick what I mean.

At a certain point it stops being worth it. If sending a brainwashed 11 yo to blow up a checkpoint means you can no longer trust having any technology near you, your family and friends it might cause hesitation.

That's 27000 streams/hour. How? Why did this take years to discover? How did this not get automatically detected within minutes?

WTF am I doing with my life if it is this easy to scam 2.4million in a year? 1 year and I could yoink it all and move to some BF island in the middle of nowhere with no extradition and live the rest of my life playing Blackjack and Hookers.

Pretty sure you could end around their TOS by connecting a PC with 2 Ethernet ports to the provider's internet and connect your router to the PC with the 2nd port. In the PC's OS bridge the 2 ports together, and disable the routers firewall.

I didn't know what an semi-submersible offshore wind farm was so found this article that describes the particular features of three different types.

I know this hell all too well. My Setter finds a cat hiding in bushes about once a week so every bush within leash range MUST be examined no matter the weather, tension on the leash, or exhaustion level (his or mine).

It feels dirty to agree with an ISP on something. But even the worst corporations are on the right side of something from time to time I suppose.

Kim Dotcom, who is facing criminal charges relating to the defunct file-sharing website Megaupload, is to be extradited to the US, the New Zealand justice minister has said.

German-born Dotcom has New Zealand residency and has been fighting extradition to the US since 2012 following an FBI-ordered raid on his Auckland mansion.

The justice minister, Paul Goldsmith, had signed an extradition order for Dotcom, a spokesperson said on Thursday.

“I considered all of the information carefully, and have decided that Mr Dotcom should be surrendered to the US to face trial,” Goldsmith said in a statement.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Dotcom said: “The obedient US colony in the South Pacific just decided to extradite me for what users uploaded to Megaupload,” in what appears to be a reference to the extradition order.
