I've never done a ccna or similar cert, so its definitely not a requirement.
If the course covers setting up firewalls, vlans, subnets etc, then it will definitely be applicable. I have attempted to vlan/subnet some of the less trustworthy devices on my network, and it wasnt easy with my limited experience.

I cant speak to that brand specifically, but the USB ethernet adapters I have used are super unreliable. I have had 2 burn out randomly (out of 3). So it might not be as redundant as you would like.
I get that these people are probably desperate, but that seems like a very short sighted decision. The employers there are not there for men, so turning up there is just going to make you seem tone deaf at best, or an asshole at worst.
The thief would have to unlock the phone to factory reset, and therefore could change the login password before factory reseting, so local account wouldnt be sufficient would it? (I am making some assumptions, i could be wrong)

Seems like a fairly useless feature (imo), if I am navigating to somewhere via driving, the weather is gonna be roughly the same as where I am now. For me it would just be clutter.
Isnt anon addy the kind of thing that works best for not self-hosting? You'd need a domain, which is registered directly to you, so not anonymous, and youd end up getting all the spam emails sent to your mx server, so you would have to deal with that?
There was a "quantum safe" encryption scheme proposed that had a non-quantum vulnerability found in it. Perhaps they are hedging against that occuring again? The scheme was rejected in the end so didnt matter to much.
Could you elaborate on whar you mean by sending search results to bing? My understanding was that DDG has always been a wrapper around Bing, but from Bings perspective your search is coming from DDG instead of you specifically, which cut the ability to track/personalise the results?
