Yeah this must be opt-in only.

Bluesky's really highkey. You need an invite or gotta sit on the waitlist for months to get an account. Real elite stuff.
Yeah, I more I learn about this stuff I can't see the purpose of this new protocol versus the existing ones (not to even mention all the activitypub/fediverse spinoffs too).
Non-activitypub federated protocols? Who is even the 3rd party in this instance? Nostr?
More I see stuff like this the more I believe that these services really aren't making any money and its all smokescreen.
Though this could also just be investors trying to drive up profits instead.
Lmao I thought it was cause he got bullied by the 196-crowd but that's equally funny. I always figured him to be the Bluesky main guy so it's kinda weird he isnt active on his own site.
I guess I gotta find more people. I'll keep posting and see if anything changes.
It's not even Fediverse either. It's their own protocol. Can't even really federate much either.
Slay the Spire in their statement specifically said theyre looking into other engines. I meant that if said games were ported the audiences would follow.
They didn't say it but I'd assume for Spire they're looking at Godot.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see developers make tools to more easily port over games to Godot from Unity.
So far the most popular games ive seen pushback from are Slay the Spire, Cult of the Lamb and Darkest Dungeon. Those games also have the benefit of dedicated fanbases. Those people will easily follow them.
Geshin Impact and Valorant are two of the worst offenders at this. Their anticheat runs at an absurdly high level.
