Weed and Prince Buster.

Can you elaborate on this pls?

Haitain history radicalized me.

Haitian history is so interesting. They have been punished for being the first successful slave revolt. Have you seen the movie Burn!? If not, I highly recommend it. It can be an upsetting movie, I think it's essential for anyone that wants to understand the transition from slave to capitalist economies and how racism is ingrained in all of it.

Iโ€™m an Anarcho Syndicalist that is deep into mutual aid networks and community outreach in my neighborhood. Community organization is so important and rewarding in my life now.

Nice! ๐Ÿด๐Ÿšฉ I've been meaning to get back into volunteering locally. I appreciate the encouragement your comment gave me. If you don't mind sharing, what communities are you working in and how did you get active in them?

spirit shown within the culture

Yes, I love it! I've been obsessed with it for like the past month. Music, analysis of music, general emotional expression, stories of prominent figures, the deeper meaning of stories, understanding privilege, strong sense of community and compassion, self-reliance and rightful mistrust of systems, acceptance, strong faith that helps navigate life and overcome adversity, and even the language. OMG the language. So many metaphors and subtle yet straight-forward communication. I might be too obsessed ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

People need 3 things to commit suicide:

  • social isolation
  • sense of burden
  • capacity

Social Isolation

If the person feels alone, even if surrounded by people, they're meeting this criterion. Loneliness is social pain because being alone was guaranteed death back in the day. Being socially isolated is literally painful.

Sense of Burden

If the person feels that all they do is drag people down, then they may see that their existence is a drag. Match this sense of worthlessness and parasitic existence with the pain of loneliness, and the person in a dire hopeless situation. To them, there is no point to being alive. They're in constant inescapable pain and not only contribute nothing, but they are spreading that pain onto others...at least that's how they see it.

Capacity

This refers to the ability for someone to be able to kill themselves. Do they have the means? Pills, car, rope, firearm? Military people in general are at higher risk because they are more likely to have firearms. But one thing that I think is overlooked is that they've been trained at a brainwashing level that violent killing is the ultimate solution to problems.

Regardless, not having the capacity is a major protective factor, which is why people get isolated in settings that prevent them from killing themselves. I'd like to point out how fucked up this is though. We are taking a person that is in so much pain they want to die, and placing them in a physical environment that prevents them from that. While necessary as a last resort, it's torture.

What if when someone says their in pain, we believe them? Maybe we offer millions of other opportunities to turn their life around. And if they're not grabbing on to those opportunities, work with them to solve those barriers. Maybe placing blame on them solely increases their sense of burden.

If you're in pain, I believe you โ™ฅ๏ธ

I think people should get married only if they have a 100% intrinsic drive to do so. If you're going online asking others, then you shouldn't get married. It's like you're trying to find an excuse for or an approval to override something that is telling you not to get married.

If before you met this woman, your future dream wife's job was porn, then go for it. If not and rn you're kinda just kind of like I-don't-know, then don't. Stop even thinking about it. It's not an option.

Honestly, it seems like you probably shouldn't be wasting your time with this woman. If she has an Only Fans, then she's using sex to take from men. You're more likely than not, one of those men because that's how she sees sex and men. Men are a source of income and sex is the service. It's all transactional. Of course, she's not going to come straight out and tell you that because it would ruin her game. Kinda like she probably doesn't go on her videos and says, "I don't find any of you attractive. This is all a show to get paid and validation," because no one would want to watch. She's going to be the same with you.

I recommend that you look into emotional manipulation tactics used by abusers. When you do so, be honest with yourself. Mind your boundaries.

I think I get what you're saying, but as far as I can tell, policy with that sentiment wasn't in place until ~4 years later. This dude was set to be deported as ordered by an immigration judge in Miami, then it was mysteriously overturned without any public explanation. It is unbelievable to me that an immigration judge in Miami in 1962 was not aware of a policy that gave Cubans residency for being here.

How is the Cuban Missile Crisis associated with Pedro Victor Garcia's deportation order being overruled on the same day?

Edit: NSFW obviously

Lately, I've had two. One in English and the other Spanish.

English - Eminem ft Joyner Lucas - Lucky You

  • The speed and rhythm are unbelievable. The musicality matches the emotion so well too. It's insane that someone can create and perform that.

Spanish - Residente - La Catedra

  • Awesome rhythm that varies throughout and a ridiculously long diss track at 12 mins lol. And just to show off, the dude raps a whole lyrical set rhyming with each of the vowels starting at 6:07. Who does that?! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Edit: Just for fun, here's a song that is impressive for being so bad by someone so important to hip-hop. The backstory is that Melle Mel was one of the original founders of hip-hop and part of the first rap group inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A few years ago, Melle Mel started publicly attacking Eminem for being White in hip hop. Eminem mostly ignored it, even thanking Melle Mel in this Rock and Rock Hall of Fame induction speech. However, after being attacked enough time by Melle Mel, Eminem dissed him in the song Realest by making fun of Mel's obsession with his muscular physique. Melle Mel responded by seriously producing and disseminating this song to the public. It's hilariously bad. Melle Mel - Kickback

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them...maybe you can hire The A-Team.

Being the generation that grew up as kids of Vietnam vets was a trip. You had these dudes with BA Baracus looking like he was ready to fuck some fool up to pity them. After that, you had the privileged White middle-upper class family of the Brady Bunch being all corny af, saying shit like, "Gee whiz, Mom! That's positively fantastic!" There were eight people living comfortably off of one wage with a housekeeper.

Imagine that today. The A-Team would be four Afghan and Iraq vets all tatted up working out of a desert-colored F150 Raptor hunting down pedos. One of them would be called Ricky Recon with the signature phrase, "It's time for some group therapy!" They'd also have a lady with them that would be the reasonable one. Every episode would include one line where someone bitches about the VA. The next show would be Modern Family.

Obviously, anyone selling guns would be slippery slope murder.

But, military contractors would be committing slippery slope war crimes, including genocide.

Gas stations for selling those crack pipes which facilitate drug use.

Car dealerships would be aiding & abetting. They'd also be involved with vehicular manslaughter, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, ...really any trafficking. Add all transportation forms to the list.

Bars for DUIs and related deaths. Also, child abuse, physical & sexual assault.

All comms technology, including phones & computers, would be involved in espionage & conspiracy. Internet device manufacturers and ISPs would be engaged in facilitating data piracy & fraud.
