Mostly for me, Qobuz rips (through SlavArt) are the best. But if for some reason you can't get what you want on Qobuz, I typically look it up on Soulseek and 99% of the time I found what I'm looking for

Try the Slav Art *Divolt (they moved to Discord), I think they recently implemented an Amazon Music downloader there.

But wouldn't a 200-300$ Android phone also support foobar2000 and playing FLACs?

No idea about the site, never heard of it. Pretty sure FLACs couldn't harm your PC (correct me if I'm wrong).

Buuuuuut if you're gonna download another FLAC from the internet I think it would be safer to get it from either doubledouble.top, the Slav Art Divolt channel, or just Soulseek like the other dude mentioned.

Will airport security (Australia specifically) check for pirated content? (lemmy.world)
 

Indonesian moving to Australia soon, I'm just concerned my laptop/phone will be checked for pirated content.

The general rule of thumb I've seen around the internet is "encrypt your drive", which is easy enough. But the other approach typically says "bring a burner phone / laptop" which of course isn't viable in my case.

Can anyone confirm on the legitimacy of these claims? I know I pirate light (""light"" compared to the vets here), but I'm just so paranoid that I could be held up and sent back home, because this might be my only shot.
