I was a kid, and a dumb one lol I've confused actors just because they changed their hair. In the same movie. I'm just not good with faces πŸ˜‚

The Sexy Brutale!

It's a murder/puzzle game and I really enjoyed it.

I haven't seen an add in years, but I would mute or do something else like a regular commercial break. You know, snack, maybe bathroom, check my phone, etc.

I'mma be real with you: I have zero interest in hearing someone's reasons for voting for a fascist.

Depressed.

I haven't gone on walks for a bit because I just cannot stand seeing those fucking signs. My mom and grandma are in a tizzy, and my mom is just as forlorn. She doesn't even want to vote anymore.

And I'm so, so, so angry. I'm not saying Harris would be the second coming, but that anyone would pick a fascist over anyone is infuriating. The area I live in is not bougie, these signs were sometimes outside houses that have seen better days. And they doomed us all for at least the next four years. I'm so distrustful of my neighbors ~~not that we were close to begin with~~. I want to ask them why, I want to scream at them, I want to question them.

I feel helpless. All my life I believed that there was some thread of decency that connected us, a thread of common sense. But there's none. And that's really upsetting.

Honestly, where I live now.

I rent a bare-bones townhouse. Two rooms, and a basement with an old washer and dryer, and a small garage.

I have always lived in apartments, sometimes with fewer rooms than people. Having an entire place of my own (that's not a studio apartment) is sometimes unbelievable to me. A washer and dryer downstairs? No quarters? I don't have to look for a spot, I have a garage? I don't have to cram my entire life in one room, I have an "office!?" This will likely be the closest to "home owner" I'll get and it still feels unreal after almost two years here. It's certainly not going into anyone's Pinterest board, and there are issues, but I always feel "bougie" when I open the garage 🀣

  • Brussel Sprouts: I tried them in a salad and fell in love with them instantly. Now they're included in every roast. They have to be fresh, because the frozen ones can just be mushy. And those little, crispy, flavorful leaves that fall off are just 🀌🏾
  • Tomatoes: I won't just bite into one, but I've been making them more prominent in my dishes. I mostly stick to the sundried variety, haven't been able to eat them raw.
  • Mushrooms: I love them so much I don't understand why I hated them.
  • Some Cheese: I general, I still would say I don't like cheese, but I've become more forgiving of mozerella, which was unheard of when I was a child. It's the only cheese that broke through.

Still don't like bacon though πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™€οΈ

Guinea pig.

I was watching a school pet named Peanut. I honestly don't know what I did, but I must have scared him or something because I opened up the cave, went to give him a pet, and he bit the shit out of my hand. His teeth actually put a nice bloody gash because I had to wiggle my hand to get him off with cause his teeth to drag. My hand was gushing blood. Would have never thought a Guinea pig could do that.

I had to beg my mom not to make me get rid of Peanut for my week. I never told the school/teacher what happened because I didn't want to get in trouble. That was the last time my mom let me watch Peanut.

Had a friend in high school who was an out lesbian, very independent. Was the first person I knew married at, like, 24 or so to some guy she met online.

Had a terrible bully who got bone cancer. She still alive, but she calmed down considerably. I remember they were asking people at school to get blood tested as they were having difficulty finding a marrow match, and most of us were like "πŸ‘€."

It was great!

I could get rid of a lot of "extra" cords. I can just keep one usb c and charge my phone, my mouse, and headphones with one cord. Shoot, I can even charge my controllers now too. I like that they're becoming like outlets. Like, this is just how you get power to the device(S). Without searching for the "right" cord all the time.
