What is the reason for this post?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Very surprised with the results and wanted to get a better understanding if that's true in real life.

Any real life evidence of that with those phones going head to head when set up identically with everything accounted for including accounting wfor the battery and screen size differences? Because if not you can't make that claim.

That's what I posted it for. I'm trying to know if that's true

Without that type of very intensional comparison there's no way to know.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Good point. I wasn't sure if someone else had tried both phones and could maybe shed some light.

Is the Cunningham's law at work? Like ~~newer~~ were you hoping that by posting this as a statement someone would come correct you?

I am not sure if I am reading this correctly. How can the Pixel 7 Pro have 25% larger battery capacity and be technically worse than the base S23?

P7Pro has a larger screen at a higher resolution which will consume significantly more power. I'm sure some part of it is also due to inefficiency of the Tensor processor

That makes sense. I was just shocked when I was comparing the two online. It seemed wrong which is why I wanted to post and see what others thought

Even if it did, if it's for that reason that wouldn't be an apples to apples comparison.
