AWS can fuck right off.
If the UK decides to put any funding toward AI, it must be publicly owned & run, with Amazon's grubby, grasping paws barred from any access to it or to any part of our grid.
Use nuclear power to fight climate change? No fucking way, another Chernobyl is inevitable. We'll just keep polluting while you think of an acceptable solution.
Use nuclear power for an AI? Forget all that wimpy solar crap, time to smash some atoms!
They should fund it themselves then.
...and fuel it.
And the taxpayer should subsidize the construction, no doubt.
