man I'm so glad my phone has a gesture function. drag three fingers down for a full shot or tap n hold to snip a specific part of my screen.

Idk it works great for me. I use it all the time
My phone recognises touch inputs I do with my knuckles. Knock for screenshot, knock with two knuckles for screen record, and draw an S shape with my knuckle to start a scroll shot.
Hit the power button a split second before the volume button. Avoids that entirely.
Not sure what phone you have, but on Android you just hit power and volume down at the same time.
Now I'm staring at my reflection because it locked instead.
