You guys pay for Music? ๐ดโโ ๏ธ
No, but I do pay for convenience and for an ad-free listening experience.
Isn't that one of the main justifications people give for piracy? That if it were affordable and convenient, people would just pay?
My problem is that i mainly listen to Video Game OSTs, most of them not being available on Spotify. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
And yes, you are paying for music, just not for specific artists/albums.
I can easily afford Spotify but I simply don't want to because free is better. I use modded Spotify with themes, plugins, no ads, unlimited skips. It rules
Never use the website app if you can download their standalone app. It's like night and day.
No issue on a dell laptop with win 11.
Have you tried installing the desktop app or is it not allowed on your work computer? The website is shit and the app is a bit less shit.
I didn't try the desktop app yet. Probably a losing battle on Windows but I prefer to use web apps where possible since it gives the service less access to my system.
Yeah, fair game, i get that
Honestly all forms of Spotify sucks moble site doesn't let you add songs to playlists and the moble app has the same issue but with ads on top of it then desctop site ok but Spotify just doesn't have my favorite songs or covers granted that's probably due to me having very obscure tastes and I'm used to downloading off of YouTube the only reason I ever use any flavor of Spotify is because my position as a radio DJ they use Spotify and the CD player is currently broken haven't used the desktop app but the site works for my purpose tho it can quite easily be made much better with the addition of a MP3 player
I'm still waiting for them to re-add a scrollbar for the mobile app podcast pages. Reported its disappearance multiple times the last two years, and just get empty answers from Spotify. Relistening to old podcasts is a pain, when having to scroll through hundreds of episodes without a quick scrollbar.
I've never NOT had an issue with Spotify on desktop. They're trying way too hard to monitor when and where you're listening.
Yes. Spotify seems to stop playing a podcast when on the website. Although it looks like it's still playing but the audio stops.
I can't install anything on my work laptop so I had to use the website. It's not great. I wouldn't be surprised if they were leaving it shitty on purpose so more people will download the app
