What perplexes me is, this guy came up with a ton of songs that are regularly on my kids rotation, but I've never, ever seen him credited.

Interesting. I obviously knew most weren't his but a few surprised me, like Apples and Bananas. Not about to rabbit hole down trying to find the history behind them, though!

Anyway, he's a Canadian who was born in Egypt from Armenian parents.
But Americans know him too.
Non-Americans as in he isn't famous outside of the US (and maybe some other English-speaking countries).
Wait raffi's albums are intended for children?

The only consolation is that he probably can't get the (mostly lovely) sounds out of his head either.
