Google is updating Android’s Do Not Disturb mode in Android 16 to make it much more customizable, calling it Priority Modes.

I cannot wait. This will cover a use case the current DND system doesn't do which would make it perfect.

Nice! I’ve been loving focus modes on iOS, it’s a real game changer when coupled with geofencing and calendar events and other automation. Glad more people will be able to utilize this!

Looks like a neat take on Samsung's Modes & Routines feature. I think Samsung's has the benefit of the additional IFTT controls which make it a lot more powerful but I'm all for it if Google integrates those in as well.

Sounds nice, I hope it will also work properly via Wear OS.
