4 of these things actually happened this year, in New England too (where Randall at least used to live).

We had perfect clear skies for the eclipse in Maine, then a couple months later had visible Aurora on a clear night as well. All while the cicadas were around, though they weren’t very loud in my area.

Not all on one day, but pretty lucky in a year. My 6 year old’s expectations for celestial events are set pretty high now though.
