O...you don't know what the AWB is do you? I'm arguing with someone who has zero clue about the subject matter.
Uhh, again people know this. In fact this "shooting" still is showing no mass shooting motivation and these two juveniles and the others not caught used handguns. We %100 know handguns are the majority of what is used in crime. This isn't a news to anyone who actually knows the topic.
Also very few, why? Because we already know the majority of our firearm violence are via handguns. That unknown number isn't going to magically be all rifles.
Again, care to go check out Japan? Higher rate of suicide, no access to guns. I'm still waiting on why this is from you. Or are you going to continue to ignore basically everything I keep saying and triple down on the "it's the guns" bullshit.
Sounds like you are since you can't be bothered to actually give a fuck to understand what I've been writing up in this thread.
Assault weapons ban. I just don't know what this has to do with a discussion about way to many firearm deaths and mass shootings. It would be a step, but unless you also regulate handguns its not enough.
Just as a reminder, this comment by another user sparked your rant about rifles:
So thats why I added the context of handguns.
What are you referring to?
Conservative Society, huge conformity pressure, stigma on mental problems and more factors lead to a high suicide rate. But without access to a quick and easy way to end your life it's harder to kill yourself.
Yeah, you are the only one in this thread who understands it.
Because that's the first thing that gets pushed over and over. It's feel good virtue signaling that will do nothing to reduce our violence.
Cool, and as I pointed out, good luck trying to take them up.
The Kansas City gang shootout during the Superbowl parade. That's what has sparked these threads again.
So you can't answer the question then...they have a higher suicide rate and cannot get firearms at all. So is it the guns causing people to kill themselves or something else?
Naa plenty do, it's a list of things that would have actual impact on our violence problem, and not just our gun violence. But a good number of you don't like meaningful discussion that doesn't involve, ban all guns, because you have such a ignorant view of them that you'd rather have them Dems spend the political capital on trying to pass another AWB than try and get even the most minor things on that list pushed through.
