This will be short.

Based on what I've seen in recent weeks, I would like to try out a new rule for the next 1-2 weeks or so.

Rule 8 (Trial): Submission statements of any length composed of your own thoughts inside the post text field are mandatory for any microblog posts, and are optional but recommended for article/image posts.

I would like to see if this will deter low effort content and spam here.

This goes into effect immediately, please provide all feedback in the comments.

Also, with the current ongoings with LinusTechTips, should they be added to the source blacklist?

I'm honestly not comfortable with what they are doing and would rather not want to promote them here. Plus, they clickbait too much.
