That's not what this is implying at all. It's basically glorifying startups and corporations while implying that FOSS projects are a confused mess that only make any progress due to big tech controlling them which is complete bullshit.

You'd have a hard time finding a single corporate or startup project these days that isn't made out of 90% FOSS software. FOSS is the brick and mortar that holds all modern software together.

How is it glorifying anything of this ?

It's not saying FOSS is a confused mess, but that big tech exploits foss! And yes FOSS can and is making progress without big thech. But big tech is big investor in foss which means it's controlling it and striving to controll it, for example threads and mastodon.

No company will invest money for anything that is not helping their cause. FOSS isn't untouchable to be exempted from critique.
