astraweb hasnt been their own thing for years. they sell the same thing (omicron backbone access) others sell for cheaper.
TBH it's been awhile since I used NNTP to download Linux images. Probably like 8 or 10 years. So I have no idea what's up these days. I think I used astra because headers didn't count in your quota, and I had my own indexer so I pulled a lot of headers. Funny how alt.binaries.linuximages and alt.binaries.erotica.amateur.realmoms.fetish.diapers didn't get indexed by the major free indexer at the time.
