Too often a conversation on slack turns into "can we have a zoom to talk about this?" And I'm like why just read and answer my question.
I think a lot more people than I assumed are not actually that good at processing written words.
No written trail
Yeah, I mean I get that but I think this guy just likes to talk so it's more innocent but annoying for others. He's a good guy at least. Just one or two sentences via chat or 15-20 min call for information I have to type to recall.
I had a team lead that did this. Never answered his call. He got absolutely slaughtered for it (amongst other things) in the retro after a while after some people had reached breaking point.
