It’s interesting that they mean “inequality between nations,” when it could very much affect inequality between the über rich and everyone else. People will start having their already underpaid jobs scaled back, there will be layoffs after layoffs to hire people in these “new fields” (who, of course, will be paid far less to be assistants to AI when it gets stuck)…inequality is going to explode—even more.
