Really good article. I love the idea of compartmentalizing specific tasks and functions to smaller CPUs dedicated for those tasks, and the move away from monolithic architectures. I really hope we start seeing Risc-V accelerate into more devices in the next few years.

Definitely, I'm really hopeful that we'll start seeing some open hardware going forward. And China has a lot of incentive to invest in further advancing RISC-V architecture since it's already being used there to develop domestic chips.

I'm gonna spend some time tonight reading and watching some vids on RISC-V and getting pumped for it 😎
