I had wired headphones, went to a good wireless one (Sony WH-1000XM3), and I will never go back.

Most people I know that want the headphones jack back want it to be able to use good quality wired headphones they already own, mainly because they can't afford (or just don't want to buy) a good quality wireless one.

Seriously. If you can buy a new mid-range smartphone, you have enough to buy premium wireless headphones. If you can't, most cheap smartphones have audio jacks. Just skip this smartphone generation to buy good wireless headphones and you are set for years.

It's easy for me to unplug my headphones from my mic and plug it into my phone when switching devices for discord or listening to music. I also like wired headphones since they are harder to lose at least in my opinion.

I thought I'd use it when I got my phone but I've since found Bluetooth headphones that are actually convenient so I don't. Now this headphone form factor is dying so I might go back to wired once they stop working. I hope the jack still exists by then.

I'm djing and I care about good audio, but the comfort of wireless headphones is just too big of an advantage for me when I'm not specifically planning the next set. The limiting factor regarding freedom of movement with wired headphones always bummed me out. I was never regretting the switch.

At home and for gaming I use the arctis 7 (wifi headset) and a wireless mouse, never had latency issues with fps shooters or anything. And I love the comfort of being able to just walk to kitchen or the bathroom without loosing audio, e.g. when I chat with my friends. On my phone I could use an aux adapter and I thought about buying it, but didn't ever really feel the need to do so. On my laptop however I wouldn't wanna miss aux, cause I don't always have an external soundcard with me :)

Well I tried shoving the wire up my own ass but I prefer the songs on my phone.

I used to. Then I bought a new phone and forgot to check to see if it had one. It did not.

I had wired headphones for very specific times, and since my new phone doesn't have the jack I'm not fully sure how I'll deal in those situations.

Used to use it daily but dropped it a few too many times with a cable inserted and now it can only be used in the car in a very specific angle.

I use it every day, to store valuable pocket lint and bits of dirt.

I use my ksc75 daily with the headphone jack.

everyday at work. I have Bose bluetooth earbuds, but there is sometimes a slight pause once in a while. Technology isn't perfect. But I like my hardwired classic earbuds.

I'm a bit clumsy (ADHD) and having a cable attached to my body attached to a €1000 device is asking for trouble. I hate the cable getting tangled up, caught on things etc.

I use it sometimes, but used it regularly for music until I busted out an old iPod.

Never, Bluetooth adapter in the car, AirPods otherwise. FUCK cords

I’ve been using bluetooth earbuds for several years now. You can walk around freely when connected to your PC, the wires don’t get tangled and noise canceling is great. But one upside of wired earbuds is that you’re not exposed to bluetooth zero days such as the one that recently came to light.

I stopped using it because my cables got always damaged after a few weeks/months of usage. With a (big) phone in my pocket it's just not possible for me to put no stress on the jack.

I actually stopped listening music on the road for a few years after that until I started using Bluetooth headphones/in ears. Now I wouldn't go back to cable even if it didn't break down so fast.

Yup use it with multiple devices, car and headphones. Bring it bloody back. No intention of buying another overpriced accessory plain and simple

I use it all the time. And I would argue that the question should be "what's the intelligence distribution of people using cabled data links over those preferring wireless?" :p

Nowadays only in my car. It doesn't have a bluetooth receiver.

It's hard to find a wired earphones with ANC. About a decade earlier I used wired a Audio Technica earphones with ANC.

I use Bluetooth headphones every day, for most of the day. Despite that, there are times where i forget to charge them the night before, or something else goes wrong, and I use wired headphones.

If I got a phone without a headphone jack, I don't think it'd be much of a problem, until it is. I'd need it, and suddenly realized I don't have it.

I've used a headphone jack on my phone probably three times in the past two years. It is extremely uncommon for me to use it, and I would actually just prefer it not be there.

Daily, I drive an 01 cherokee sport base model. This means I have a tape deck and fuck all else.
