Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Facebook for once removing anti-vac disinformation is something good though?
Not when “disinformation” is defined by the government.
Ah yes the highly politicised healthcare department. With all their highly trained and knowledgeable healthcare specialists, truly the last people you want to set the record on what is and isn’t accurate medical information.
Every time I get a comment from you, it’s always a shit take. Funny that.
I agree, but this doesn't rule off the possiblity of a government to deliberately calls out truth as "fake news" or "disinfornation". Especially some authoritarian regimes to downplay the event.
His warning is valid. While I trust professionals and specialists, I shall also use my brain to make sure what they said make sense.
That might work for me and you but it clearly doesn't work at all for the anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists in general. Hell, they don't even realize that keeping a secret with all members of a profession around the globe is just not feasible even though they have probably seen how it doesn't work in their friends group of five people dozens of times.
