Google has spent the past decade killing their brand. They’d launch new services, get people using them, then remove them with little notice.
Now they are ruining Chrome with their DRM initiatives, causing people to switch to Firefox.
Google search is getting really really bad to the point I’m having to use AI and alternative resources on some topics.
Waiting for them to ruin gmail next.
That's one of the reasons I've worked diligently to remove Google from my life. Only Google branded service left is Maps (and Android if you count that). I really wish there was a map service bases on OSM with an as easily readable map UX as GMaps... OSM derived apps is usually too cluttered for anything where you need an overview in walkable cities.
Organic Maps?
Probably, it looks a bit better at first glance. I'll give it a try.
