It's fun seeing Jamie Oliver get regularly put in his place.

I have some sea salt flakes I use in whatever I'm cooking, if it's needed. Most things taste nicer with a bit of salt in.

How do you find it, all I seem to get is trash and if I have to hear the phrase "like and subscribe" one more time I'll scream?

I'm a buyer for a large food distributor, so my job is importing food from around the world. There is definitely a lot of worrying conversation at work everyday. So many crop failures and shortages. I think a lot of people are oblivious to these things, they just see the price of tomatoes go up and think we're being greedy when actually it's because whole crops have failed.

Yeah you're right I could probably do this! But I'm not sure I care enough about its appearance 😆

I have one car, it's 20 years old and I've had it since 2009. Sometimes I look around and think, maybe it's time to get one not covered in scratches with a dent in the back? But then I see posts like this and feel incredibly grateful this little banger has kept me on the road for so long.

I agree with you, I've had 2 Pixels and they just work. I had a Galaxy and it was always crashing and doing weird things if you used a different launcher.

I feel like you must be lucky. My parents had a Dualit intending to never need to buy another toaster, but it was so often away being repaired they had to buy a cheap one for the interim. We had 2 Dualits at work and same problem. One of them has been permanently trashed now. They also take SO LONG to toast?!

I got a mid-range Kenwood 4 years ago and it's going strong.

Some people will do that regardless, but I would keep all of my phones for longer if the batteries were easily changeable and they didn't eventually grind to a halt. I loved my Pixel 3a and would still be using it today if I could.

My parents have always been left-wing hippies and entertained the odd conspiracy theory, but during the pandemic they got lost down YouTube rabbit holes and bought into Q-Anon and anti-vax ideas. They still don't believe Covid is real (even though they blatantly had it...).

We've just kind of agreed not to talk about it anymore, but they've steadily become more and more batshit and I think they believe I have been brainwashed.

Anyone else's familial relationships changed forever?
