equally intelligent, just in a different field. this way, you can always learn from another, while never competing with knowledge. this also means you both need to be curious and interested about each others stuff, which is just as important as intelligence.

I am very glad that most my mail stuff still goes through other providers, but I do use my domain's mail for purposes related to my server and its services, and wow, this is unnerving....
i do, and together with nextcloud's map application you get a full view of which image was taken where.
just feels really cool after a half decade to have so many pictures so far away, all at one glance.
also, in the current age of large machine learning models, it is scarily easy to use one of these to guess the location. it's like the colkective hive mind of geoguesser players working together, so if one really wants to find ur location based on ur pictures, they really dont even need the metadata anymore
- create full digital autonomy, destroy any and all entries to ads and trackers on a system level for my flat (basically, live a life of no digital annoyances, and once we nuke the world wide web be able to live without internet access and not miss a thing)

yoooo thanks for this. this one is extremely well made.
how do i find a reason to love the nextcloud community more and more every single day?!?
11 days 3 hours. i did write a script that suspends the pc to memory and rtcwake at a specified time, as basically my alarm clock. and during work, its suspended to disk. so, of those 11 days its been properly running for maybe 2 days.
have you tried using a vpn, e.g. tailscale?
extremely easy to set up, if you are a selfhost purist, there's headscale as a direct alternative.
only really good at doing stuff in a personal workspace, not really made for exposing to the public internet, still very possible tho
