Me just enjoying linux working while people around me constantly complain about windows. At this point have the money for mac or use linux is what i would say but of course you cant expect people to switch a part of their computer they didnt even know could be switched out.

Idk about the US but here in europe you can call social services and if you are serious they will send someone out to get you and at least temporarily you can stay at the relatives who dont want to harm you.

I think indie is pretty cool. Its at the point where you can basically design a console by yourself. You can emulate up to ps2 on some of them so you got all the classics in your pocket.

Yeah thats also why siberia is insane because its so inland. But i dont have any right to talk about cold weather, i live in jönköping which is extremely southern. We have 30c in summer here because of global warming now.

Its interesting in sweden/nordics because uppsala and oslo are almost above the 60th and gävle and helsinki are above it and they arent even that northern. The northernmost actual city we have is luleå at 65.5 and then theres kiruna which is the northernmost city(tho its a pretty goofy place) which is at 67.8. Then there are the norwegians with their cities that are for some reason ridiculously northern. Tromsø is almost at the 70th and its a pretty normal city all things considered.

Lol yes, but isnt off grid a hobby for a lot of people?

Im dont know that much about off-grid stuff(certified city boy moment) but i guess you can do power and septic town in city, idk about water. Maybe rsin collection? But thats not enough water.

Most off the grid people live in rural areas but wouldnt an in city off-grid house be a pretty nice thing? Just seems like a cool concept.

And linux IS foss out of the box no need to use workarounds. Also you get better performance with stock linux most times.

I dont need an iphone for that, but the(in my opinion) good hardware of the iphone with free software would be nice. Most linux phones are pretty crap but seeing what asahilinux is on arm macs i would have hope in iphone linux if the hardware was open. Of course its possible people would just port android which isnt the best result as android in my opinion is basically a worse, mostly proprietary version of linux.
